Meets First Wed Monthly (Sep-May)

Grades 9-12

JAWS (Jesus and Working Students) is our parish youth group. All students in grades 9-12, from our parish and our community, are welcome to attend! JAWS is an active, fun, large group of young adults. JAWS has a monthly meeting September – May. The monthly meeting is generally the first Wednesday evening of the month at First Lutheran Church in Britton.

ARK

JAWS youth host and enjoy ARK (Acts of Random Kindness) events about once a month September – November and January – April. These events can be Acts of Random Kindness within the community or for the JAWS youth.

Prayer n’ Muffins

JAWS sponsors Prayer n Muffins for 6-12th grade students on the 3rd Weds of the month, September – May, 7:45-8:10am at First Lutheran Church. This is a time for a light breakfast and prayers to start the day.  It is a relaxed, meaningful start to the day!

JAWS youth are busy with several other things each year, including: hosting and attending community youth events, caroling at Christmas time, serving an egg bake breakfast for the annual meeting and on Easter morning, attending regional youth events, and more.
